Historical result – Dubrovnik Airport infrastructure and suprastructure project

HELB performs the internal power grid and photovoltaic power plant construction works within the project “Development and Renovation of the Dubrovnik Airport”.

Following successful preparations, HELB commenced work on one of the largest infrastructure projects co-financed by EU funds in the Republic of Croatia.

The fact that it is the only airport reconstruction in Europe approved by the European Commission speaks volumes about historical importance this project has for HELB.

The project includes the reconstruction of the take off – landing runaway, the new parking positions for aircrafts, the modern fuel station, the first of its kind in Croatia with tubes that will reach the parking position of the aircraft, new administrative building, sewerage and numerous subprojects, with already completed reconstruction of the passenger terminal of the Dubrovnik Airport.

This project represents a step forward in reliability of Dubrovnik Airport power supply, and also contributes to the development of green tourism in Croatia.
