During September and October 2013 HELB gained its first reference on the huge Chinese market. The project included parameter setting and testing of the relay protection system on one of the state-of-the-art ships for the production, storage and offloading of oil “Cidade de Ilhabela”. HELB was engaged on this project by ABB, Power Production Division, while the end user is SBM Offshore, an international conglomerate specialised for such types of vessels.
More specifically, HELB performed works on the parameter setting and testing of numerical relay protection on a MV switchgear and the project covered 36 fields of transformer, motor and generator protection.
For HELB this is one of the most significant projects in relay protection setting and testing, as for HELB this is the beginning of supplying such services outside Croatia.”Being part of such a big project is at the same time an honour and a challenge.
