A 3-day conference Croenergy 2013 on the possibilities of financing energy projects for the public and private investors has been held in Tuheljske toplice.
50 lecturers from 15 EU countries, Canada and the USA, heads of counties, mayors and representatives of the European Commission contributed to a very interesting programme. The conference was organised by REGEA North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency , European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and Environment (FEDARENE) and the ManagEnergy initiative under the sponsorship of the president of Croatia, Ivo Josipović.
During the conference a special attention was paid to the implementation of the energy efficiency projects according to EPC and ESCO model within the context of the European Directive on Energy Efficiency, which strongly supports such projects. The Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Manager in HELB took an active role as the moderator of the panel “Empowering the European Energy Community”.
