Joining the EU celebrated industriously – our first reference in Scotland!

Our first reference in Scotland!

Hamilton, Scotland – Having performed works on the reconstruction of MV substations near Glasgow HELB has gained an important reference on the EU market in one of for us the furthest countries of the EU – Scotland.

HELB, in cooperation with Prointegris, has performed works on substations Strathaven and Wishaw in the Hamilton area, 30 km from Glasgow for the Scottish ReachActive.

The project icluded the replacement of the old 33 kV outer switchgear with a new Siemens NX Plus MV switchgear and protection and control cabinets. HELB performed the testing of the signal and control cables between the protection and control cabinets and 33 kV bays in SS Wishaw (275/33 kV), as well as primary testings of the current transformers  and signal and control cables between the protection and control cabinets and 33 kV bays in SS Strathaven (400/275/33 kV).

When asked about the reaction of our Scottish partners, Danijel Bahlen, representative of HELB, pointed out: “We did our best, our colleagues from ReachActive were extremely satisfied with our approach and our work. I believe that these good interpersonal relationships offer a possibility of future cooperation.”
