HELB’s employee with the most air miles: From monkeys in Costa Rica to a cobra in Tanzania

Ivan Rajič started his career at HELB 12 years ago as an electrical fitter. Thanks to his tenacity and ability to adapt to challenging conditions, he distinguished himself as an important part of HELB’s team. Today, his work includes supervision of the installation of primary and secondary equipment at power plants with voltage levels of up to 500 kV. His colleagues have only words of praise for him and describe him as an extremely resourceful person who quickly solves problems, and they also emphasize how their day flies by with him because he always has interesting stories.

The acquisition of new equipment improved production efficiency

Modernization improved the production process for serial production.

For over 30 years, HELB has been manufacturing control and distribution devices in the field of electrical power engineering. Until now, production primarily consisted of tailor-made products. Thanks to this project, the production facility has been enriched with new valuable equipment, further improving serial production.

A very successful Job Fair was held

More than 150 companies participated in the 16th Job Fair organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the FER Student Union, and the Electrical Engineering Students’ Club (KSET) at the Velesajam Zagreb. Long ago HELB recognized the importance of raising students’ awareness of the power industry, so at this year’s two-day event, it used the opportunity to present itself to students and future employees.
