HELB awarded Best Colleagues 2021.

To highlight good examples and share stories that promote values such as cooperation, community, honesty, responsibility, and contribution, HELB held an election for the Best Colleagues 2021. With this selection, HELB wanted to recognize and reward colleagues whose expertise and attitude towards work are an example to others and at the same time spread good and positive stories within the company.

All HELB employees were able to nominate and be nominated within three categories: “Always for Cooperation” – someone who shows understanding, respect, helps when needed, and communicates in good faith and with confidence. “Give more of themselves” – someone who is exceptionally engaged in the team, who is responsible, gives more than what is expected in a regular job. “One who knows knowledge” – someone who shows above-average knowledge related to the work he/she does and his/ her work is of high quality and they are happy to share knowledge.

Almost two-thirds of employees participated in the election through an online survey, and the winners of the above-mentioned categories with the highest number of votes are:

• “Always for Cooperation” – Anto Tolić
• “Give more of themselves” – Petra Batalić
• “One who knows knowledge” – Danijel Bahlen

Stjepan Horvat, director of HELB, did not hide his joy and enthusiasm as he surprised the employees at their workplace and presented them with awards. “I’m happy that we’ve recognized colleagues who, through their persistent work, dedication, profession, and good relationships, are examples of the behavior we want to encourage. Cooperation, responsibility, community, and expertise are the path to success, so I am immensely proud that HELB has a lot of people with such values and my sincerest congratulations go to all the nominees.”
