With the area of 407 km², 174 turbine units and the total capacity of 1,2 GW, 'Hornsea Project One' is now the world’s largest offshore wind farm. HELB engineers are carrying out functional testing of substations. The trust is given to HELB for the third time, we were part of Burbo Bank Extension, Race Bank and Walney Extension projects for the same investor - Ørsted Company (formerly DONG Energy).
When the wind power plant will become functional, it is expected to bring electric power to more than 1 000 000 UK homes.
