The safest employees – care about others the most!

World Day of Safety and Health at Work

On the occasion of World Day of Health and Safety at Work, for the third year in a row, HELB held a competition among its employees, which lasted from March 31st to April 14th. The main goal of this competition was to raise safety at work to a higher level and improve business results. HELB marked this special day by rewarding employees who, through their work and behaviour, promote workplace safety, prevent accidents, and thus become role models for everyone else.

This year’s winners are:

  • Best knowledge of Health and Safety – FILIP PAVLOVIĆ
  • The safest employee – KRUNOSLAV BENKO
  • Best H&S at work photo – DAMIR MAŽAR

Employees were able to compete in several categories, including a quiz on Health and Safety at Work, where they needed to show enviable knowledge of the facts and laws regarding H&S at work. The safest worker won the most votes from colleagues, while the last award was given to the best photograph on the topic of H&S at work.

The director of HELB, Stjepan Horvat, presented the awards to the winners and congratulated them on their enviable knowledge and encouraged safety at work. He emphasized that with such commitment we will increase our competitive advantage, but also continue to encourage one of our key values – caring for others.
